Cloudberry Solutions is seeking an Application Management Specialist for a prominent bank project.

Job Summary:

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance, availability, and reliability of key business applications. This role includes conducting routine system checks, performing backups, and diagnosing user-reported issues to ensure timely resolutions. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical problems, manage vendor relations, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the performance of key business applications.
• Ensure continuous availability and reliability of applications to support business operations.
• Perform routine checks, backups, and system health assessments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Assist in planning, testing, and implementing application upgrades and patches.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Provide end-user support for application-related issues.
• Offer training and guidance on best practices for using enterprise applications.
• Create and update user guides, FAQs, and documentation.
• Work with third-party vendors for application-related support and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and manage vendor performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in application support , IT operations, or related roles.
• Experience with enterprise application management (e.g., ERP(Oracle),Robotics, Jupiter or custom business systems).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.
• Strong Knowledge with  database management, scripting, and system integrations is a plus(SQL,Oracle and PL-SQL).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
